Access to quality eye care is as important as access to primary health care because your vision is irreplaceable.

What are you passionate about outside of medicine?

Everything!  I bring energy and passion to all that I choose to do.  From church to community service to random acts of kindness, I give 110% or it is not worth doing.

What do you love most about being an ophthalmologist?

Having the ability to have a nearly immediate impact of someone's quality of life.  Patients go from visual struggles to visual freedom in less than one hour.  That is rewarding!

What advice would you give patients  to help maintain healthy vision for a lifetime?

Establish care with a primary eye MD.  Don't leave the health of your eyes to chance.  Every sunrise and sunset is worth experiencing.  Your vision makes that possible.  Nuture it as if this is true.
